Can't afford to go away very often and the only site we have been to so far this year we have been to many times before and reviewed then. It hasn't really changed much and is as good as before. We are planning another trip soon though, and that will probably be to somewhere we haven't been before.

You can just put that in your review, lets other people know the site is still good

Good point, because sites can change hands sometimes with improvements and sometimes well......
I have been good this and last year since I got my van.

Indeed. I have just left another review for Sandringham as it is every bit as good as before. I will also leave a review for the next site we visit soon, when we have decided where and when. It will be somewhere we haven't been before.
Sites we’ve enjoyed are quick & easy to review. It takes me much longer to do a less favourable review, especially if we’re the odd ones out; I want to be fair and it can take a while to work out the reasons why, factually, we won’t go back to other reviewers’ favourite site. And conversely, why we’d go back to a site that others have criticised.
We all look for different things - thankfully. How boring if all sites were the same!
Not going to lie, however, one of my reasons for submitting site reviews is to gain more photo allowance!

We don't care about loos and showers, but to many others they seem to be the make or break. Level ground and an open aspect to the south are more important for us.

You may not like Sandringham C&CC site then Mrs Bonce, as it's set in woodland and all you can see to the south is trees. Lovely though.
We wouldn't rule out a site completely due to the lack of toilets and showers, but they are a preference as they drastically reduce the amount of lugging we have to do, and that is very important because we both have back problems. The other thing is that unlike many modern caravans our toilet compartment is tiny. Lots of things to bang heads and elbows on if trying to use the shower. It's not impossible, but we definitely prefer not to unless there is no alternative. I definitely wouldn't want to spend two weeks on a site with no toilets or showers, although a couple of days would be fine.
I don't mind having no facilities except fresh water and CDP, like Thetford Forest CAMC site.
However, the area is a mobile phone signal black hole, and I need a good internet connection for work purposes. My super duper external antenna cannot boost what is not there in the first place!
Each to their own - the world would be very dull if we all like/want the same thing.

Absolutely DK. It would be a dull place indeed. In our case, mobile phone, internet, and TV are "nice to haves" rather than essentials. I don't even have a smart-phone, although my wife has, and we never take a TV with us anyway. We don't work anymore though.
