I'm dog-sitting for my daughter; three families (including six children) have gone to spend the Bank Holiday weekend at Cae Adda near Trawsfynydd. She messaged me to say their three tents are the only units there today! On such a fine weekend, too... I think a lot of people are missing a trick. They've been sitting round the firepit admiring the starry skies, enjoying fine daytime views, going for a lovely walk to the dam, etc. I haven't been there so I can't post a review, but from what she's saying it's definitely one to explore. Maybe being a bit off the beaten track has kept it quieter - looks like a bit of a hidden gem!
Has anyone else discovered any hidden gems? (Okay, once they're discovered they're not really hidden any more, but you know what I mean!)
------------- Always edited for sloppy typing - when I spot it!
