Are people no longer doing reviews? Ive just searched a couple of popular sites and there were no reviews for this year. Bearing in mind we've just had the third bank holiday weekend of the year, I thought there'd be some new reviews but sadly not. I love to read what people think about sites. We've visited 3 sites up to now this year, ive reviewed one and about to do the other. Do people just not bother any more?

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
I do, so that I could build up my photos allowance and for UKCS to track the number of sites and nights I have stayed!

When we were active campers I always did reviews, It goes both ways as I would often read reviews of new sites I intended to visit. I hope mine were useful?

They were, David! Full of information.
I usually review, unless I’ve been to the site recently. And I do try to say something different: there are some reviewers who cut & paste reviews for the same sites, over & over, which I don’t find helpful: once is enough.
I sometimes choose a site specifically because it doesn’t have a review from the last few years.

You were always one of our "go to" reviewers, David, and I loved reading your blogs too.
I especially appreciated that you didn't just include opinions, but also information about access, electric hook ups etc.
I must admit I'm guilty of not always leaving a review, especially if there have been several recently. I do try to get round to them if there hasn't been one for a while though.
I've got maybe half a dozen from this year to add & will check if I missed any for last year. We use a lot of aires etc which are outside scope of this site.
I usually do a review for any sites we stay on, although I don't always do one for sites we have stayed on many times. We haven't been anywhere with the caravan yet this year though, although we did have a few days in Copenhagen recently and we are off to Cornwall soon. Staying with my sister-in-law though.
I've posted one from this year, plus two I hadn't got round to doing last year.
When I was deciding where to go this year I also noticed the lack of recent reviews so looked at an online booking site but often had questions about the information on it, eg a site supposedly good for families which supposedly had a maximum pitch size of 3 x 5m, so I had to try and find a phone number to check (they had no problem with larger tents).
Something I have noticed is quite a few reviews from people who have only done 1 review. Is it just me being a little sceptical and taking them with a pinch of salt?

I do tend to write them, often whilst still away, but frequently no or poor internet connection, and simply forget to post them when I'm home - far too busy planing next trip!
