Looking to buy a 4 birth caravan for next year and to site it Devon/ Cornwall
Will be looking for a site thats quiet, rural, with a nearby shop, pub and somewhere to walk the dog. Will be for myself and my husband and maybe our son now and then. Would need electric.
We'd be happy to hear from anywhere that might be just right for us. Thanks

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I'm assuming(although one should never assume) that 4 berth, site and need electric would pertain to a tourer.
------------- XVI yes?

You may have a problem, unless of course you are already fixed up with a site. Most have the "28 day rule" which means that you have to leave after 28 days,. Nothing to stop you returning but it's hard to find sites at busy times.
It sounds like you are looking for a seasonal pitch where you can leave the caravan and come and go as you please. There are lots of these around and they generally have a season which lasts from spring to autumn, often 1st March to 31st October although sometimes the season in the south west is a bit shorter, 1st April to 30th September for example. We have been really struggling to find a seasonal site we like in the area we are looking for but as we have been looking, I have seen a number advertising availability in the Devon/Cornwall area (too far for us to travel). We are in a Facebook group called “Seasonal Pitch Caravan Pitches” where site owners often advertise available seasonal pitches and people who are already on seasonal sites answer questions. You might want to join a specific group like that to see what is out there. I’ve just done a quick search for ‘Cornwall’ in the group and over the last couple of months Atlantic Reach, Trelay, Penderleath and Chy Carne have all been advertising seasonal vacancies. I have no idea what these sites are like or whether they would suit you but it is a starting point.
