Hi there
We are finding it impossible to find any availability for 2nd june for 4 nights in northern ireland in our touring caravan we are prepared to go to southern ireland ( donegal, sligo) but thats difficult too. Any suggestions?
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Welcome to UKCS. Have you tried the Site Search? There are far more sites in the directory here than in either Club handbook, or other site booking websites.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
There are sites at Dungloe, Portnoo and Rosbeg in Donegal, but don't know if they are too far south for you. Reviews on here for Dungloe and Portnoo, latter by me.

That particular weekend is predictably very busy for camping, being school holiday and with a double Bank Holiday weekend.
A lot of sites are booked up months in advance.
Being so close to that weekend, you may need to widen your geographical area in order find a suitable pitch.
Good luck!

DK, I have a site for you, if you are interested, Glenloin House, Arrochar, £7.50 pp. On Loch Long, about 3 miles from the A82 by Loch Lomond.
Not for me, thanks, as I booked my new-to-me adult-only site in Gloucestershire back in late February 2022, when I decided it is too good a weekend not to go camping.
It is more than 27 GBP a night with no single person discount , and I accepted the rate for the privilege of camping at an adult only site during school holidays.

I didn't mean for that weekend, just thought it might be useful.
Got you!
Need careful planning if I were to return to Scotland, as I would need to allow for more time to spend on the road, with an overnighter along the route.
I aim to do a big camping trip once a year: next year is France; 2024 is the Netherlands to visit friends. So Scotland will need to be 2025 or later.

Edited to say I have saved it in my Virtual Brochure with thanks!

Going south sounds a good idea. I don’t think there will be platinum jubilee celebrations in the republic.
A day of all things motorhome and campervan. The show is held both in the main indoor arena and across the grounds. Catering, hot drinks and food options are available. Easy access to the site and free parking included. Win one of five pairs of day tickets
