I'm in the North West looking for campsite recommendations, we're looking for sites that
1. Grass
2. Maybe a play area or things for kids to do
3. Electric hook up a bonus.
Any good suggestions?

Welcome to UKCS. The Site Search on UKCS is brilliant - tick what you want, it’ll then list sites that fit the bill, and you’d then look at the sites with a score of 10/10 or 9/10. Maybe read the most recent reviews.
Plenty of choice in your chosen area. Good luck!
Thanks Fiona, me and my wife have camped for twenty years but the arrival of a daughter changed it all. She's 5 now and our old knowledge is useless. It's like starting again.
It looks amazing, think you've hit the bullseye here Fran. I'm definitely going here, looks like the end of the world. This is a weather dependant site.

This place in the Yorkshire dales is lovely. https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=13844
Huge pitches with electric, and the best toilets/shower block we've used in the UK. The campsite provides firepits too. No playground, but the camping field has lots of space in the middle for children to play. Our 8 year old daughter loved it.
