I am currently looking for a recommendation for a campsite in the south east area. We normally goto Polmanter in st Ives, Cornwall which is an 8 hour travel so distance isn't an issue. We are looking for something which would suit a teenage child, be dog friendly and have a pitch with electric hook up suitable for a large tent. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, ideally something to a very good standard.
Thanks in advance

I also recommend the Site Search. I rely on it for helping me decide where we go.
You say you want a good standard, so look at the sites that score 10 - or 9 if you want to go somewhere in particular: sometimes you have to balance the site against being somewhere specific.
Hawthorn Farm on the edge of Dover is certainly in the south east which you asked for. Easy visits to Deal, Canterbury and Folkestone. Site details and reviews on here already. It might well suit you. https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=1544
