Hi folks, does anyone know if there is an long term/ residential touring campsites around the Chesterfield area, pretty new to this caravaning scene so any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you

Welcome to UKCS.
So - you’re looking for a site to put your own caravan onto a pitch? use the Site Search tab & tick on “seasonal” in the area you’re interested in (and anything else eg dogs allowed or no dogs).
You won’t be able to live there all year because the site won’t have a 12 month residential licence. You’ll need to move off & come back later / move to another site.
There’s a large number of threads about full time permanent living in a caravan - you can search the Forums. Big topic.
Meanwhile, start exploring sites with seasonal pitches in your preferred area, a month here, a month there, as annual seasonal sites will have mostly been taken up by now. Good luck with your plans.
