We have always loved it there and have been trying to get on for bank holiday but its full.
Not been since the new owners have taken over but they have been so, so helpful over easter and for the bank holiday tryig to get us on the site, now we are on the waiting list for a cancellation.

Good luck Lindsay, hope something turns up for you. Think we must have been lucky because its not so long since we booked. It'll be a new experience for us as we've never been so close to home - never mind can nip home if we've forgotten something!
I have just spoken to the people at Abbey Farm to confirm our booking for Whit bank holiday, only to be told we are actually booked in for this forthcoming bank holiday.
We are all thrilled because we love it there and it's not even half an hour away from home!
We have had to chose somewhere close by,(we live in Rainhill, St Helens) as by the time we leave home we need to leave ourselves enough time to be able to set the tent up whilsts it's still light!
Anybody going for May Day bank holiday call by our tent for a chat, we have a Gelert Alaska 8 and are easily identifiable from the fact that we look like The Clampets when we turn up!
