a drive over the hardknott pass from langdale is a must
NOT for the fainthearted tho! Stop at the old Roman Fort halfway up, the view down Eskdale Valley is beautiful. Mind out for the boggy bits on the way to the fort tho

Don't go to The Cars of the Stars Museum, we went on Saturday in and out in 10 mins. Cost £4 per adult and £3 per child, thought the boys would have a fab time as they love cars and movies. Felt very disapointed not able to take any pics or video and told to switch of phone's, rather expensive for very little.
hi although a couple of years since we where there, my son loved it and still goes on about it now. Have to admit though he a proper petrol head and if it has four wheels he loves it. Me myself though have to agree with caroleeeee waste of money for me lol.
