Currently there is a major refurbishment of the swimming pool being undertaken - it is due to open 4th August.....and we are all working flat out to make the deadline!!

Hi, we stayed at the plassey last weekend and would just like to echo everyones comments. Its a lovely site with great facilities and very friendly and accomodating staff.
On the large tent issue while we were there there were a couple of Outwell Hartford xl's just a bit further up from us so it may be worth giving them a ring to check the policy on large tents.
Well first impressions are good - used the coffee shop for a samdwich it was very nice. Staff on reception were very helpful and we were given a choice of pitch and were shown on to the one we chose - i shall submit a review on my return on Sunday

Welcome to The Plassey!! I will pop over to see if everything is OK with you during the weekend.......and if you spot a man covered in tile adhesive.....that will be me in my overalls sticking on mosaic swimming pool tiles!!
The pool re-opening date has now had to be pushed back to 17th August. Sorry, but we've had problems in getting everything ready in time for the summer holidays.
well what can I say about this site. if you haven't been then you are missing out. I will submit a review. but we will definitely be back. this is about the best you will find.

it's just starting to rain we left the site about half hour ago.
try and get on a hardstanding if you can. the delux pitches look fab. that's what we will book next time.

We actually live less than 20 mins from this site...I even work in Wrexham BUT after visiting friends staying there, we are considering booking there to meet up with friends coming from further afield. I know it sounds a bit daft but it is lovely!!
Hi Murdo, when you say you live 20 mins from the Plassey, where exactly are you? In your profile, your location is listed as N Wales, Cheshire? We live in cheshire and we're definately in England!
P.S. We also love the Plassey and have stayed there on numerous occassions!
