£11 a night EACH! You cannot be serious. Keswick is a lovely site but wouldn't pay that. We stayed there just after Easter a few years ago, mid season plus we are lucky(?) that we now get age concession so it was quite reasonable.

Last year we paid £8 a night each at Burns Farm which is miles out of town... we just consider the extra cash a saving on taxis!

They must see that we're three lads and charge us a hidden "Assumption of Rowdiness Tax".

I'm guessing that you may also not be C&CC members, in which case there is a hefty surcharge I believe ..... keep on camping though, it proves that all-sex groups shouldn't all be tarred with the same brush!

Got a feeling I've said this before - if people pay the fees, the sites will charge the fees........ I'm still reeling from the shock of someone being charged £4 a day for a windbreak from another thread I read today!

Haven't stayed at that site but have stayed at other Haven sites and the entertainment passes for the pools/clubs etc are included in the price but they also offer other activities that aren't and are quite pricey. My daughter loves the entertainment at these sort of sites , but we find that the pitches and toilet/shower facilities etc are usually very poor considering the money that they charge per night so we try to avoid them. However we have occasionally had some last minute deals with Haven for
£10-15 per night for a family of 3 and the 9 yr old has had a great time, and when she is happy so are we.
