"Lakelands in Grange-over-Sands has a nice touring area seperate from the static area, and is definitely one of their cleaner and more pleasant sites."
Sorry to disagree with you but we went to this park in October last year and it was extremely muddy and unkept - no warden anymore to keep things tidy, overflowing bins, toilets that were not cleaned in the 3 days we were there & no hot water for showers - we were booked in for 12 days but left after only 3 - not my ideal place at all. I know we all like different things but i basically think that because it was only 3 weeks to go before the end of the season they couldnt of cared less about the touring area - we were told by locals that planning permission was being sort for more statics!!

We like Seaview, Weymouth and are going for the third year in June. We use the Super-touring pitches and we have had few problems there. We have two young sons (2 and 4) so not teenagers but there is a fair bit to do and it is not far from Bowleaze cove witht he funfair there. There are buses into Weymouth regularly from outside the park too.

That's a shame - it was nicely kept when we were there a few Summers ago. The march of the static goes on .....
You can understand why this is though......Weather, Most people I speak to say they would never camp beacause it is always cold and raining in this country. They do however stay in lodges and statics....where they can 'have the fire on'!!!

we have had the same problem, loads of tesco vouchers to use but cant find a haven site with decent reviews. we too were hoping to go to devon or cornwall but a look at the prices and we decided we would go back to warren farm in brean, where we spent a week last august. we had gorgeous weather and there was plenty to do so at the end of the week we were reluctant to come home. hopefully we will get the weather this year as well.
beware !!!!! if haven have reduced the size of their pitches= last year we stayed kiln park tenby late in the season but site was FULL due to cheap late offers we have a symbol autosleeper -we are narrow and short we parked up --went for a walk on our return we were so "boxed" in on both sides by vastlyoversized tents with extra porches /kitchens etc plus 2 off loaded trailers and 2 cars! so much so the only access to our vechicle was by stepping over their guide ropes/pegs which we found driven in within inches of our wheels so beware if these pitches have decreased in size!!! this year
