hey you guys, don,nt forget to let us know what you thought of this site, as its on my virtual brochure, best pitches, the dog runs etc. We are thinking of going at christmas. Penny
Ross Park is brilliant you will all love it, I honestly could not find a single fault. The thing that stood out the most for us, after a journey of just over 250 miles, was the welcome. Helen waved us away when I tried to pay on arrival and said don't worry about that now you've had a long journey. Then Mark came and unhitched the caravan, towed it away and put it on the pitch for us. When you are tired and stressed from being stuck in traffic for 7½ hours thats the welcome that makes it all worth it!!
I hope you have a lovely time too Tres. We're going from 6th-11th we normally stay a bit nearer to Paignton as my in-laws live there but i was so impressed with this site after reading what everyone wrote about it and seeing the website i just had to book it.
Will let you all know how we get on when we get back but i just know we'll love it. I only booked yesterday and the brochure and booking form came in the post this morning so my deposit is already on it's way.
Ann it was probably Helen i spoke to and i have to say what a lovely lady she sounds.
Penny where do i find your virtual brochure?
Thank you to everyone that recommened the site i'm really looking forward to it now.

If you don't mind the trek, Troytown Campsite on St Agnes, Isles of Scilly is unbeatable. The ony campsite n Scilly that allows dogs it's perched beside the sea in the middle of nowhere. As the island is traffic free, your dog can run freely around the entire island. We took our (then) 5 month old puppy there last autumn and will be back again this spring.
Hi Jackie, just click on my profile, then scroll down, and all my fav, or sites I want to visit are numbered, you just click on them. Have a good holiday, let me know if the dog paddocks are pyrenean mountain dog proof !!! Penny
Thanks Penny i've found it now. Will let you know how we get on. Your dogs are lovely they sure will need a big shower to accomodate them. How much do they weigh?
I'm hoping my Rottweiler will fit ok as she could do with a shower my spanial gets one at the groomers.

Hi Jackie, my older bich weighs about 43 kilos, and the younger bitch, who if she had brains would be dangerous weighs in at about50 kilos, we bath them in our bath at home, and Millie gets in herself, Willow hides under the table, and thinks we don,nt see her. I deal with a lot of Rotties at work, as I work in a big pet superstore, and I deal with all the dogs, I have one rescue bitch that comes to see me, and she practically throws herself into my arms for a cuddle. I love her, anyway have a good holiday. Penny
Mia is 45kg's so i'll be able to give you a good idea now Penny.
I'd love to work in a pet superstore i'd be in my element with all the dogs coming in. Mia is so funny when we take her to Pets at Home because she knows they keep a bowl of treats behind the cash desk so she keeps peeking over to tell them she's there
