We've come across a couple of sites that said no sign written vans and wondered why until we went to one that didnt have this rule, we set up in a lovely spot, went out shopping for a couple of hours, got back to find our caravan surrounded by a group of people with vans who'd pitched their tents all around us, we couldnt get the car between them to park next to the van and one had parked less than a foot from the back window so all we could see was his 18" orange lettering!

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

We go camping with friends and because of the two families and the amount of gear between us and the opportunity for the kids to take their bikes (which is a luxury I know) we have gone in their vehicles, which are a sprinter van (he's a franchisee for a parcel delivery company) and a minibus (she's a childminder).

When we rang a few sites for this Easter and August, some did say no, full stop.  However we have got onto a couple of great sites who were very accomodating even though their websites did say no commercial vehicles.

Saying that, we don't expect to have the vans parked next to the tents and once unloaded, would be quite happy to park them at the entrance or at the reception carpark

  Best wishes Sam
