I have just had to cancel my break starting tomorrow till Tuesday at Hendre Mynach, Barmouth due to a family bereavement. We were in a caravan you could give them a call

I know its in the opposite direction but I have just had to cancel West Runton camping and caravan club site as my hubby has heart problems and has fallen ill. The lady who runs the site has been lovely about this and the site had some excellent reviews. It can't be any further for you than the Lakes?

Try the sites that you like the look of again today or tomorrow as they will probably have had quite a few cancellations or no shows from fairweather campers scared off by the forecast of rain. I think they may be lots of vacant pitches on campsites this weekend because of the threat of wet weather.

Thanks to you all for the ideas. I will definately be trying in the morning.

I can't understand this weather....we have been forecast heavy rain over the last two days and it's been dry, sunny, cold and windy but no rain!

I don't think it'll be too bad over the weekend....again thanks and i'll get phoning again in the morning.
