Hi Tykey and Kenles.
Sorry boys but there wasn't a railway line there. It is possible that much has changed in the past 30 years and it is no longer as I remember it. Definitely no railway line though. Many thanks anyway.

I was going to say that may be the slipway had been put in since you were last there!
I've lost a campsite near Hawes. I fad a fab holiday there in 1974 and haven't been able to find it again. I think it might not be a campsite any more.

Tykey my deep apologies to you that it was yours I was looking at
None necessary
My Cae Du is a hidden gem, where you sit like old fogies outside the awning with a log fire and bottle of wine watching the dolphins playing, the seals floating and the gannets fishing.
But don't tell anybody, because it might get too full.

I think I'm going to visit Tykey's hidden gem! At least I won't have to do my mountain goat bit climbing down to the sea. I shall have to practice 'sitting like an old fogey' though but I'm not going until June so I've lots of time. Might see you there!

Well this site gets better all the time. I always bring a few stones back from the seaside wherever I go to. Put them in my back garden. Of course I have that many now I can't remember where I got them all from. Perhaps I need to paint the date and beach where they came from.
