Nobody would come to my site... it would be no dogs, no tellys, no smoking... and motorhomes/caravans would be in a different area to tents - or the pitches would be big enough that you couldn't hear the neighbours stomping up and down in them.
For the kids - large footie field, great adventure playground, indoor games room, indoor swimming pool, outdoor pool with flumes, organised kids clubs doing theatre and footie during the school hols, early evening disco every 2 or 3 nights, films on rainy days and karaoke once or twice a week.
For the adults - nice heated toilet/shower facilities with a bathroom with bath that you could hire for 30mins, washing up facilities indoors, quiet bar with reasonable prices, takeaway on site, small campsite shop doing fresh bread each morning, large supermarket about 10-15 mins away. Nowhere near main road and not under a flight path. Free freezer compartment with lock.
In the area - nice beaches, river rafting/canoeing, interesting sight-seeing, indoor activities for rainy days.
We get a lot of this on the French campsites we go to - the British ones just don't compare.

Lol, I'd come. My son is petrified of dogs and we all hate the smell from cigarettes. I don't object to TVs as such but having only camped near someone with one once I'd quite happily go to a site without them.
I would have each pitch with a picnic bench and chairs as well as the facility of hiring a gas bottle so people with limited space can save space. i too would have a courier service to collect and erect (i like that slogan!!!) and dismantle and return. I would also offer a pre order service for shopping which would be delivered to your pitch upon arrival! I can dream!!!!
Debbie - Sounds like Heaven - the only other service we would need is a taxi to & from the local pub! (That obviously does 5 star food.....)
what about a valeting service like they have at Tesco on the car park?? could cover both inside and out ?? fresh produce delivered in a little van..(.like an ice cream van) locally we have (Booze Cruise) delivering alcohol and its always busy !Dog sitting service is an excellent idea.
McFishy was you thinking about a site for nudists hehe !!

Just thought... what about a club 18-30 camp site aimed at younger people to party all night if they want....at least everyone who comes knows what to expect, i could be the oldest rep hehe, they have the money to spend too so would make loads ,,, for example would have a tent crawl ! of course they would have to buy the alcohol from me on entering the site. i could have a guest DJ and live music. i suppose a mini glastonbury, now i bet you are thinking this is my worst nightmare !

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
i like the idea of a 18-30 campsite, i think it would make a small fortune! I have a friend who wanted to camp with a group of her friends and no one locally was willing to take them. I understand why family sites wouldnt want to but if there were campsites aimed at 18-30's, i think they would be fully booked most weekends especially if there was a dj and disco!
