Well it was a reasonably flat area !! But the views are incredible, aren't they. And the sun sets over Lundy Island. We do try arrive on Friday, because we were once disappointed to find the site full. (May B/holiday weekend) On that occasion we stayed in a B and B for a couple of nights. So I think you are right, if we don't arrive on a Saturday we will get a pitch without any problems.
I have looked at Damage Barton, we are not members of any caravan or camping club, but I think I may need to reconsider this, as it looks like another great site.
