Serenity in Hinderwell, 8 miles north of Whitby, should give you the peace and quiet you want. It's basically adults only but does allow a handful of kids so you should be ok with a 16-year old. When we went the couple in the tent next door had a very quiet 14-year old boy and one couple in a caravan had a baby, that was it. The owners are really friendly and helpful and I'm sure they would be happy to accommodate you if you explain your situation.
