we went to view it before it had opened and also the week before it opened the bloke who showed us around was very helpful and explained what was going where as they were due to open the following week he told us half price till the end of the year and the play area was going to be installed by the toilet block and he was waiting for the barrier to be installed

hopefully its going to be one of our local retreats

We also went to the opening weekend ( will do a review asap ) and we had such a fantastic weekend. We are less than 10 mins away from the site and we are going to book in again for a few more weekends. We were on the camping field and everyone was spread out. They are waiting for 50 electric hook ups to be installed on the field. The whole site was lovely and the caravan side was nice and looked like good size pitches.

Facilities were excellent and I think I counted 10 toilets in the ladies with free hairdryer !!!

The Manager is lovely and it seems they have lots of plans for the site. I wish them all the best.

Oh yes on the saturday night they had a duo singing on the field and everyone went over with their bbqs and wine and it was a great chance to chat with everyone else whilst the children all played and danced together. Has to be my best weekend of camping so far ( we are in our 3rd season now )

This sounds like a great place - a great place for me and the kids in summer I think - shame I could not get the tariff to display - unless that is unless it is not showing at all.

I phoned this place yesterday and spoke to the owner. He could not have been any more helpful/informative. We are hoping  to get a weekend break there in the next few weeks so a full review will follow. We only live about half an hour from the site but Frodsham/Delamere is a lovely part of the country. Also, if there is any coarse anglers out there, it is very near to Lloyds Meadow Fishery which is hard to beat for a great days fishing.
