And to add another which has started up since the last post on this thread;

'Lindsey Trail Touring Park' in Market Rasen is a lovely site and has a gate leading straight on to the course of Market Rasen GC, which is a stunning place to play.

Look at Trevornick in Cornwall just out side of Newquey. 18 hole golf course and a pitch and putt course, separate from the camp site but direct access thru the campsite. You can walk thru the course and head to the beach too. Great on site bar/ restaurant with some of the best sunsets we have ever found!!

Also look at Freshwater holiday park, Close to west bay. Dorset. Again 18 hole golf course short walk from the campsite.
I can't say if they are any good as I don't know a single thing about golf!!

The OP hasn’t posted since 2015; there are thousands of courses of all characters & costs, something to suit everyone’s skill & £ pocket. We’re especially fond of the quirky ones in SW Scotland, often 9 holes, often have an honesty box, and usually have plenty of blind holes.

Hi Fiona, yes - I love those too. I remember staying at Garlieston and coming across St Medon GC; an honesty box, and a course that was like it had been designed by an excitable child. Hopefully heading up that way again soon.
