I had my van, and others, smoked out on a “no fires” site near St Nazaire. The idiot went around the sight picking up whatever wood he could, so it was green, and used it in his charcoal BBQ! I think he was Dutch.
Absolutely no consideration for other campers. He was soon put in his place by a couple of French guys and a grumpy Englishman.
So, gedsjeep, just saying it as it is.

A seasonal caravan on the pitch beside us at Dalraddy (Aviemore) had a Chiminea and the family was disposing of their rubbish in it - burning plastic bottles & polystyrene food containers makes an awful stinky smell. We were downwind & couldn't sit outside. Moved to another pitch next day.
