We're going to Flamingoland next weekend! Love it! Haven't tried the campsite, but we're staying at Slingsby camping and caravanning club site which is only about a mile away. C&CC sites DO have big pitches and no one is going to pitch right on top of you. see the reviews here

Haven and British Holidays used to be sister companies - get the feeling that they are using the Haven Banner more and more.    I think that they are part of the Bourne Leisure Group.

Flamingoland is great, it can get a bit noisy at night but not stupidly so.

They didn't seem to mind tent size, but will let you know in a few weeks as we've got a larger one now!  Also they've stopped taking tourer bookings, now that is a little worrying! Was loads of room last year so i have my fingers crossed.

I have camped a t Flamingoland 4 time in the last 11 years and have never needed to book, even in August when the English schools have broken up. I usually went to the back field it's usually less crowded and there are less queues for the showers although you di have further to walk to the funpark etc.
