I think I at least need a website. If somewhere doesn't have a website then I'm not going to risk it. If I was able bodied and it was just me and the husband with a small set up then I might be braver but it's still quite a palaver going away with me and the kids. I do take reviews with a pinch of salt but there are times that they're invaluable - like one site having about 5 people say there was dog poo all over the place.

The advice about google earth is great though - never thought of that before!

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

In this day and age caravan sites are daft not to have a decent website. It is good advertising.
