I'd forgotten, I'd posted on this 4 years ago.
We don't have that dog any more but the current one is a self-employed cocker spaniel, a rescue, and some of our favourite sites are now off the list as their dog run isn't enclosed. Ducks & swans & rabbits & pheasants - nightmare now!
C&MC at Hawes in Yorkshire Dales has huge dog exercise area, so does watergate bay and Polmanter Cornwall. Bridlington C&MC site has a big enclosed area, though not sure the plans for this due to extending the site. St. Helens in the field at Scarborough also had a big dog exercise area. Not sure if you tent or caravan, some of these may only take caravans.
Caravan & Motorhome cl site- Old School house cl site Terrington st john PE14 7SA has a fully enclosed exercise area from January 2019, but they already have an acre fully fenced with sheep netting that you can use -no limit on amount of dogs,the owner is a doggie person & is motorhomer so appreciates the need for safe off lead exercising.
Bridlington dog field was unaffected by the expansion, when we were there several people were not picking up which makes me mad! The grass was very long with paths cut winding through.
