We went to Haggerston Castle last Easter, not camping though we stayed in a very expensive static. (£350 for 3 nights) The kids loved it but my wife and I hated it! We were a good half a mile off the entertainment zone and at night it was murder. Sounded like 3 seperate acts were on, disco etc.. it was so loud kept us awake all the time, noisey kids (teenage agers) playing football over my new car. The pool was no where near what is was cracked up to be and No Changing Rooms, you had to fight for a cubicle and then a locker or just drop ya keks by the side of the pool with everyone looking. Certainly wasnt worth the hour wait to get in. Nope not again! Just make sure your no where near Rorry i'll scare the kids Tiger and you'll be alright.
Oh and horse riding around the site was not inclusive either, that cost me a lot aswell, oh and no toilet roll, dish cloth, tea towel, washing liquid or bedding provided in the expensive tin shed. Oh and it was cold at night and no heating at all, and the gas fire didnt work. oh and the hot water only trickled out of the shower.
And that I was told is there Premier Flag Ship Site etc..
£350 ???? You could have bought yourself a decent family tent and loads of equipment for that, and that'd have done all your holidays for the next 4-5 years!
scarboroughs a gr8 resort, but i do agree with nickandsally the toilets/showers aint brill, but the pools got nice clean showers, and it costs next to nothing to go for the weekend
