I've been to woodclose the toilets and showers were the best i 've seen. Really big family showers. There aren't many tent pitches but it is a really nice site any questions let me know.

what sort of pitches do they have for caravans are all pitches the same?

From what I remember all the caravan pitches were the same and were on grass.  The tents have a separate sheltered little field that was flat and there were also a couple of pitches with hook ups.  If you look at the aerial view picture on the home page of their website the touring field is the area at the top right that is mostly empty.  The tent field is the rectangular hedged area next to it.  Even though pitches are on grass they all seem very well drained - we have stayed there in torrential rain and had no problems.  A neat, tidy and well run site.
