Hi all, I have just returned from Karma Farm today and unfortunatly the site will be closing on the 20th of July. This is a real shame as it is such a lovely site. As Fudge mentioned, the owner is not sure what the intentions of the new owner will be. lets hope they keep the site running, it would be such a shame to lose it.

We stayed at Karma Farm this weekend and were sad to hear it's closing next weekend.  

As Sean b says, it's not known at the moment what the intentions are of the new owners.  The current owner thinks the land could be used for building a couple of large houses.  However, we chatted to the locals in the Crown next door, and they believe the camp site may close for a short time and then be re-opened by the new owners.  Fingers crossed - because it's in a great location for exploring the beautiful Chilterns. There was a group of teenagers staying there on Saturday night, working towards their Duke of Edinburgh awards, plus families, couples, and ramblers like us.  There's a demand for cheap, basic sites like this and it's a shame to see this close down.
