i am not a doggie person so that is very useful for me

this could be why polzeath and the lizard are a couple of my favourite places in cornwall.

however we usually go in the winter so it doesn't really make any difference for us :)

The dog ban is from Easter day to 1st October.  Any other time of the year dogs are allowed on most of the Cornish beaches.

Thanks for the info of website of dog friendly beaches in cornwall. This is a excellent find as you deserve a pat on the back for finding and sharing with others. As we went touring to cornwall and Devon last year and went to various beaches but you never know till you arrive if dogs are allowed or not?? Sometimes there are signs and sometimes not so I just look for other dogs on the beach as I know there is upto a £1000 fine if you are caught on a dog free beach with a dog....I think woolacombe is a excellent beach as one side area A is dog free then there is area B where dogs must be kept on leads until you pass the flags into area C then they can run free....as my dog loves the sand and sea .
