I am planning a weeks holiday in Dawlish Warren, does any know which is the better site for a family. I know they are very close to each other but would like some information from people that have stayed recently. Our children ages are 5 & 7 years so its them we really need to please.

I stayed at Ladys Mile at Easter and the only way I can describe it is that it is ruled by the children-in a good way.Car movement was minimum whilst we were there and the kids could roam without fear of being knocked down. There is a large play area with a sand base so they dont scuff their legs etc. The club house has 'Rocky the Racoon' -I think that was his name and there is and hour of kids entertainment at night and a 2 hour kids club in the day. The indoor pool is huge with a big slide and also a very good sized outdoor pool with slide.
I havent yet stayed at Golden Sands but I would definately recommend Ladys Mile

We stayed at this site about 3 years ago at Easter, the electricity in the site went off about 5 times in the weekend we were there, not one of the best sites we've stayed at.
Thanks All for the replys. After reading this and other reviews we have booked Ladys Mile. I will let you know how we get on. While I am there thought I will be checking out the others.
Just my tuppence worth, but I would never book a place that does not allow reviews. I know there may be valid reasons as has been explained previously, but there are lots of reviewed sites to choose.
we stayed at lady's mile last year. There is plenty to do for the children, and as said earlier traffic was at a minimum so it was safe for the boy child to play outside. (We did however stay in a static van, which is sectioned off). We would definately recommend it, and as a child in a mans body myself I found the waterslides great fun.
