Hi i'm wondering if anyone is heading off to Glan-y-mor campsite in St Davids this year? or has been to Glan-y-mor before.

hmm i suppose it all depends how rowdy it gets. We are all fairly young 22-33 years old but at the same time we like the quiet life. i guess if it gets too bad we could always run and hide in the tent. Thank you for the info though, its somthing to think about!

littleleppie - went to Glan-y-Mor last September and had a great time.  The site's down a road halfway between St Davids (about 5 mins walk) and the Caerfai Bay (about 5 mins walk).  I had a great time there with no real complaints.  It is a smallish site and the pub does attract a youngish sort of sporty crowd although I would never have described it as 'rowdy'.  There a great patio area out the back with heat lamps galore which was really nice.

The coastal path runs along the edge of the cliffs with some amazing scenery and in St Davids there are a number of good eating and drinking places if you want to get away from the site.  Only gripes for me was that the showers were a little on the tired side as were the loos.

There's another campsite 2 minutes down the road right on the cliff edge if you change your mind!

Thanks for the info..i think we are going to go ahead and book Glan-y-Mor. We are are a fairly young group anyway (ages 22-33) so hopefully we will fit in. I guess we will just have to rough it with the showers.
