Can anyone recommend a site near Muncaster in the lakes Preferably with a pub near by

Ravenglass is a nice clean C & CC site and it is 20mins walk to Muncaster through the woods  or 10-15 along the road. The Ratty arms does a nice bar meal, there are others in the village but we have never tried them.

We stayed at Ravenglass C&CC site in November, great site, nice food at the Ratty Arms, the one other pub in the (tiny) village was closed when we were there. we didn't go round the castle as it was only open on the Sunday we were heading home. We did go on the steam train la'al ratty up to Delgarth and Boot. would certainly use the site again and the area was lovely.
