Black Bull and Upper Carr at Pickering are great for kids, both have a playground. Next door to them theres a  9 hole golf course and a child friendly pub that does good food.

Hi, we've stayed at Golden Square a couple of times and can definately recommend it... the outdoor swimming pool in Helmsley is great fun too. We've had great fun swimming in a lovely warm pool even when its been raining
