We're away but I haven't booked anywhere but we will probably go to the New Forest or Forest of Dean.
It will be our last break until our main holiday at the end of June as we have car shows every weekend until then. I will be away for 4 day at the Beaulieu autojumble in May but thats not really a holiday.
Where do you go in new forest? If you dont book are you guarenteed a pitch still?
i hate going just me and three kids without knowing for deffinate that i have a pitch

Can't really miss us in a Dethleff's towed by a red V70! Come and say hello - we won't arrive until about 7 I don't think, as I can't get away from work early.
Which part of Hartlepool are you from - wemoved to the Headland about 3 years ago.
Hi Millie we live at Seaton, Have you been to the CL before, if so is it nice,I have looked at a few in the area but it's hard to tell what they are like from the details in the CC club members book. I have'nt rang yet so not sure if there are any spaces left
we are having our first ever solo (minus 4 year old whose is at his nanas) trip this weekend. Yeahhhhhh !!!! Stroud Hill park adults only in cambridgeshire. Roll on 4 O clock tomorrow. Onsite bar and good restaurant by all accounts (not a chicken nugget in sight hopefully!!!)
Marpin, we went to the Scar Close CL at Hudswell which is just out of Richmond. It is on the outskirts of the village, 15 mins walk to the George and Dragon, and it is behind a large bungalow. There are actually 2 areas, we were asked to go on the grass area at the back, which has 2 x 3 hook up posts down one side and 1x3 hook up post on the other side of the field, but there were only 5 vans on the field, well spaced out. Short grass with a gravel strip down the middle. The bottom of the field leads into Calf Wood, which is NT owned. Very clean and quiet, pleasant views, lambs in the fields either side of us, the wc at the moment is a Portaloo, but there is a fairly large buiding going up which looks as though it may well be a toilet block - we wonder if it is going to become a small commercial site.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
