Hi Suzie.....welcome to UKCS. NOw you have found us you will never want to leave. The people on here are the friendliest most wonderful, most caring 'family' on the net.
I think webby will probably move this to the campsites forum but please come back on general chat any time you like.
There is a Haven camp at Preatatyn called Presthaven sands which I think takes campers.

Hi Suzi, welcome to UKCS.  Have you tried doing a search on here to see if you can find a campsite?  Click on the Camp site search button and away you go

We stopped at Bodnant Campsite, http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=3928 and can recommend it highly, there are a few reviews in the review section on here (including ours).

Its in the Conwy valley and is just outside the village of Llanwrst. Its close to North Wales coast, Llandudno and the Snowdonia National Park.

Llanwrst has shops, pubs, chippies and a supermarket and is about a 5 minute walk from the site.

There isn't a park on site but there is a swimming pool nearby and I think theres a park nearby across the river from the village.

Try Riverside Camping near Caernarfon, it is featured in the campsite search. I recently reviewed it. Sounds like what you are looking for. My nephew loved it!

North Wales Tourist Info here.........!!!

Quite a few lovely sites on the outskirts of Colwyn Bay - Dinarth Hall comes highly recommended & is in a lovely spot......http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=5551
Two minutes drive to the beach and half way between Colwyn Bay and Llandudno.
