Hi, has anyone been to any good camp sites an hour or less away from Grays (Thurrock) that is child and dog friendly ======= any suggestions would be appreciated ........... thanks

If you dont mind going just over the hour you could go to Brighthouse Farm, between Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds. It takes us about an hour from Canvey Island so probably another 15 minutes from Grays.
We went last year for our first camping trip and could not fault the site, we are going back in June for a long weekend.
Very laid back camp, nice pub in walking distance, clean showers/toilets and very friendly owner.
