Hi

Does anyone know if there is a bus route from ambleside to troutbeck, I'm sure I saw a bus stop last time I was there.

Thereare buses from Ambleside bus station ( laybys in the middle of town) to troutbeck bridge but not too sure abiout to Troutbeck - in this area buses are not too frequent anyway so I wouldn't expect a regular  service - possibly a couple of times a day. Try looking up and ringing 'Mountain Goat' This could be your best bet.

Hi Public transport is diabolical round here I'm sure that the local company "Mountain Goat" run a service out that way but i wouldn't take my word for it.

Worth a call to Windermere Tourist Info, Mountain Goat or the Campsite itself.
