I too would reccomend Rosneath Castle site if you have children. There is also a nice Bistro sell good grub along with the usual adult "refreshments".
I live just one mile along from it and we often go there to eat.

Its Luss for me, we have been there a few times and never been disapointed, its not very far into Glasgow.

Lomond wood site at Balloch is a favorite for us not sure if they still take tents, i will also be hoping to try some of the other sites recommended on here too, i love Scotland.
