We were at a site a lot of years back at East Cowes I think it was called Waverly Park, dont know what it`s like now or even if it`s still there so I suggest a campsite search and see if there are any reviews
You could try Nodes point. It right on the sea front. You don't get any big ship though, just small craft going in and out of Bembridge Harbour. I have been to this site a few years back and stayed in a static, it a nice but older family site, but it may have improved. The touring site is on a steep sloop and the pitches have recently been tereaced I beleive, they also do ready tents. I'm not sure what the touring facilties are like though, I know they used to be pretty dire but that was a good 5+ years ago. So they may have improved.

We are due to go on 7th July to Lower Hyde in Isle of Wight, they said that the pitches for tents are very level and they have all new shower & toilet blocks at all 3 sites in IOW. Has anyone been here?
