Considering this site but as we are in a tent I am concerned about how sloping this site is. I like my kids to be able to sleep in their beds ar night and not in a heap at the bottom of the tent.

So I would like to ask any of you that have been to this site....

How sloping is it? Are there any flat pitches (with EHU)?  Where are the flat pitches (if any) so I know where to ask to be pitched when I book.

Thanks

Emma

My parents used to have a caravan there. It did slope quite a bit where the tents were put. If you need ehu it might be better.

This is a lovely site, were booked for our second visit this year.

Just ask for a flat pitch when you book. They won't give you an allocated pitch until you arrive but you can ask for a level pitch and they will do they're best. I think they use there common sense and normally just put caravans on the sloping pitches.

Happy holidays

Hello

My wife and i have got a caravan stored on this site and it is one of the best we have been on. They have got lots of level pitches for tents plus they have just laid out some new terrace pitches which would be ideal for tents. Try it, you wont be dissapointed.

Have you a seasonal pitch billymog or do they tow it out as and when?  We are at Holmanswood but I liked the look of this site too.

I don't remember much about it as mine were too young, but would suit older children. I remember an activity bit, but there's space for ball games, the enclosed animals bit which children like and also the fields behind the camping bit are great for playing in. There's a stream in the fields behind too.

The kids play area isn't the most comprehensive I've ever seen and when the site is full there isn't that much space to play for kids - BUT it is a LOVELY site - and I have been there many times. The animal area is interesting (for a few minutes...)

If you want a good play area close by - go to Bicton Park and take a picnic.....there's an indoor play area/ballpit type thing, an outdoor play area with lots of stuff to climb on and in, a railwat aroound the site and lots of open space.
