Can anyone recommend a decent site for a midweek stop over close to the M4 around the Swindon area?
I will be travelling with three children and need to stop over part way for one night as my youngest wont travel for longer than three hours (cant blame him really) and Im doing a 6 hour trip!
Ideally somewhere around Swindon as thats kinda my half way mark but not to far from the M4 so Im not detouring to much and easy access.
I can reverse and turn the van if need be but Id prefer somewhere with reasonable access as its a big rig all told and its my first time without dh with me ( im the one who normally tows this van but he is usually with me to help if need be lol)
All I require is somewhere quiet - with a hook up for the evening!
Any suggestions?

We are members of the CCC and usually use small sites!!
My biggest worry is going to a small site and not having room to swing the van around if I getv stuck reversing it lol I can reverse but don't often do it!!
We have a six berth van so its a 23ft van to the a frame plus the car :)
I really appreciate your help!

Hi Buffy, Try giving this man a call on 01793-706270 this is a little CL site along a hard track to my caravan storage and you would be ok down there if he has a space, let me know as I have another one as well. His name is George and the place is called "The Forge"
