Have just bought my new tent today and after much deliberation decided to go for the khyam ontario 6 but am now desperate to give it a trial run this bank holiday weekend.Just now need to find a good campsite in Cromer anyone have any suggestions been there before and would like to go back but dont know any campsites.

It's a good few years since I've camped in the Cromer area. Just south of Cromer (approx 2 miles) is Overstrand, there was and maybe still is "Reynolds" campsite it's just around the corner from the White Horse Pub. North of Cromer is West Runton and East Runton, there are a few sites around here.
Why not have a look through the site directory using the Camp Site search.

There are quite a few nice sites in the Cromer area. "Deers Glade", "Manor Farm" and the "Camping & Caravanning Club" site at West Runton are all worth looking at and all have a good reputation on U.K.C.S...

Thanks i have emailed them just now is it right next to cromer and you just walk along the cliff top it rings a bell but i have only been down there once and stayed in a caravan.
Thank you will try all those suggestions quite like the look of deer glades and have seen it on here.Im sure i will find one just hope it doesnt take me as long as it did to choose my tent.Or i wont get away this weekend at all!!!!

Hi, we have stayed at Deers Glade at easter this year and it is a very nice site, showers clean & hot etc, you are surrounded by woodland so it is quite sheltered. We have also been to Woodhill, its nice and the showers are also clean and hot, you are more open to the elements at woodhill as its quite open, we went the easter of 06 and it was very very windy.
I love Manor Farm, it is a breath taking campsite, the views are gorgeous, the shower blocks are clean, there is a choice of 4 fields, Marl Pit, where we stay, which has two fields, and is for Tents and Caravans, Moll's Meadow, which is the dog field, which apparently has better views than marl pit and Gurney's Plantation, Hardstandings for caravans with power showers! I would recommend this site over Woodhill at least because at woodhill there are women who sit with rubber gloves on peeling potatoes.
I,ve stayed at woodhill before, generally a nice site clean etc, but we found it very noisy at night, the quiet after 10.30 rule was not observed, it would have been better with another pitch further away from the club house etc
