Hi can anybody recommend a good site for first time camper with 2 children?

anywhere near/around the northwest of england!

i have heard the hawkshead Ambelside lake's is good but it does get book't quick

hence i have never been.

try three rivers Clitheroe plenty of space for ball games,swimming pool( a bit rough round the edges) and a bit of a kids disco on sat night and v friendly also very peaceful even with pub and disco on site.
