Does anyone have any suggestions as to where we can camp?

We would like to camp near a like/river somewhere.  We do not want to stay on a camp site, we want to build an open fire!

In wiltshire area- or 2 hours drive in any direction.

Try the search facility, also trying to find a non camp site where you can camp and have an open fire is going to be a hard one some sites will let you have an open fire though.

If you don't mind a camp site try Seven Acres nr Frome, perfect to visit Longleat and also there is the Fox and Hounds about a mile away (excellent excellent pub very very friendly)
