I'm planning to go to Malham/Kettlewell in June- does anyone know of a site that is picturesque and reasonably quiet?

Im sure there is a nice site in Settle which I also used to go to when I was younger.

I will try to find the name so pls bear with me.

It was lovely and right by the river and not very far from Kettlwell.

Was it knight stainforth?

Helen there is a campsite right by Gordale scar it is a bit basic but it looked lovely and free and easywhen we walked there.

The Stainforth site used to be very good, but I have not been down there for a few years.

The site you should go to is at Gordale Scar, the most stunning site in England..avoid weekends if you can in the middle of the season.....The site in Stainforth is ok, but doesn't hold a candle to Gordale scar if the landscape is important to you........

if you go to knight stainforth you need to know that the tv reception is worse than poor . we couldn't get a picture on any channel. it was dire at night with no telly.

take a dvd player with you.
