Hi

We went to Watermouth before the "upgrade" and had a really good time, that good, we stayed an extra week.

The showers were fine then, so they must be really good now.

Hi there,

Just wanted to find out if you did go to Watermouth, if so what you thought of it.  I've just rung them and they seem really reasonable for a 3 night stay - but sadly the reviews are really putting me off!

We went to Watermouth Cove, intending to stay for a week, and stayed two.

The owners were really friendly, the facilities clean, plenty of hot water. Our youngster (4 then) enjoyed the play area, and it was an ideal base for exploring Devon.

We had one night with some rowdy shouts from a family returning from the pub, but it is a family site and to be fair it was over in 10 minutes.

All sites have faults, no soap, shop closes 2 til 3, grass too long, grass too short, pool too cold etc. You will never please everybody.

We had a good value, pleasant family holiday on a friendly site with good facilities, and we would go back without hesitation.

stayed at watermouth for 4 nights over whitsun the shower/toilet block are new and they always had plenty of hot water at all times of the day.the only drawback was the shower cubicles (6 in all) are small and you cannot alter the position of the shower head.there is a folding shower door to keep your clothes dry in the changing area in each cubicle with a plastic shelf/seat and a hook on the back of the door to hang clothes. marks out of 10 (8)
