I think I would also be a bit worried about leaving it at the Haven site unless they had somewhere it could be securely locked away.
I know you can padlock the trailer itself, but that does not stop anyone from emptying it!!
How far is it to Seadown from Weymouth? If it is not too far you could ask if they have anywhere you could leave the trailer until you get there.
I have never had any reason to worry while on a campsite, but the trailer is pretty much empty then and I think you do tend to feel more relaxed about that sort of thing when camping/caravaning.
