Hi Joe, just had to answer this thread. I've camped, caravaned, staticed and self catered in this area over the years and although neither me or the OH have ever fished, I have seen many people who do. The area is stunning and well worth a visit even if the fishing is not up to your standard. If you enjoy camping with basic facilities at a reasonable price, go to Silversands campsite just by Arisaig village.

You must go to Morar beach,(see top photo in my gallery) you must go a walk down the Rue road at the edge of Arisaig  village.

If you forget anything you must go into Got-it in Mallaig cos they stock everything we've ever forgotton to take over the years

You must try a breakfast at the Fisherman's mission in Mallaig, its yummy

You must think of how jealous I am at least once, particularly when enjoying a wonderful sunset (see bottom photo in my gallery)

And last but not least,  Enjoy

Try and find the local fishing shop they generally know who's got a boat. Failling that try the local harbour master. I've organised trips  like this before and they are generally the peeps who have the info

Hi Joe, just thought I would mention the Rhu road as its a lovely walk or drive. There's an old boathouse at the end of the track which is a lovely place for a BBQ or picnic. If your there around dawn ao dusk you may even see some deer

Have a great time and let us know how the fishing goes
