We are looking to book a weeks trip down near to Dartmouth in the summer holidays.

We have a six man tent for myself, the better half and our 6 months old, and a 4 man tent for the other 4 kids.

We are trying to find somewhere that is reasonable priced in the dartmouth area, but have searched and searched, and it all seems extremely pricey

It seems we are looking at anything up to £18 a night per tent, then an additional few quid a night for more than 2 kids, then another quid for the trailer, the list goes on....

At this rate we will be booking a caravan in september as it will be cheaper

Any suggestions appreciated

Is there likely to be room in August, or do we need to try and book in advance ?

Not sure the best way to do it yet, either one 6 man tent and one 4, or one 6 man and 2 2 man tents  I guess it depends on what a pup tent is
